Its cottages are also duplex types (well, at least, the ones that we rented) that are made of concrete
wood and nipa
We were lucky to get 2 duplex units beside each other

It’s a disadvantage because we had to walk a bit to get to the nicer restaurants
But then again
Malapascua is such a small island
everything else is just walking distance
